  • Manage data collection processes including securing testing materials, handling logistics, training and monitoring participants
  • Own defined projects focused on improving parts of the data collection processes
  • Work closely with engineering and research groups to improve software usability and the participant experience
  • Work one-on-one with study participants to ensure project objectives are met with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Be accountable for specific processes including securing testing materials, handling logistics, troubleshooting technical and/or process issues and providing daily reports to management
  • Work closely with team to follow protocol and continually refine participant experience
  • Be a quick learner and grasp complex project details and own specific aspects of the project
  • Work independently to meet research objectives
  • Partner closely with Program Managers on protocol/process development for existing and future data collections
  • Continuously evaluate data collection tools and processes to offer solutions to ensure they are efficient, high quality, and scalable
  • Manage distribution and collection of project-specific assets for employee testing
  • Own logistics of distribution, collection and tracking of assets
  • Address any customer service or technical questions from users and develop solutions that reduce the number of inquiries


  • Must have legal authorization to work in both Sunnyvale, CA (client HQ) and in overseas European Union countries (could have US Greencard/citizenship in an EU country; dual citizenship with US and an EU country)
  • Must be willing and able to travel overseas to EU for extended periods of time from as little as 60 days to as long as a maximum of 6 months at a time. Duration of overseas periods will be heavily dependent on project management discretion, candidate success in meeting project objectives, and quality of candidate work
  • Solid interpersonal, written, verbal, and computer skills are essential for success in the role
  • Candidates must have proven success in managing their own time, working independently, and the ability to analyze processes to suggest improvements to leadership
  • *Be able to cover up-front expenses according to project per diems and cost maximums prior to reimbursement through the client’s expense reimbursement processes


  • A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done and accept reprioritization as necessary
  • Comfortable working with technical equipment, Mac OS, Windows OS
  • Hands-on experience with one-on-one session moderation with participants
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in fast paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to follow through, work independently, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great teamwork skills


  • Experience with speech and language data collection and processing
  • End-to-end, hands-on experience with all aspects of data collections (recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
  • Consumer electronic research experience
