The Six.One.Six Event Coordinator isresponsible for maintaining teamwork and produce quality service to each guest.
MAJORFUNCTIONS: EventsCoordinator is responsible for the creation and discovery of events. once anevent has been assigned, the Events Coordinator will begin the coordination ofall contractual agreements with the party in accordance with their wishes. This includes the following outlets: Six One Six, Mixology and the Jdek. Preparewritten correspondence to clients in multiple forms of communication. Proactivelypromoting/selling of events in Six One Six, Mixology and Jdek Communicateweekly with parking/front office to ensure groups needs are met. Preparemonthly 30/60/90 event booking forecast report. Outlineall planning for events. Ensure that allplanning deadlines are met. Analyzeclient needs and assist them in developing a program that would best meet theseneeds while making the most efficient and effective use of hotel facilities. Assist in the creation of private dining menusand signage for private events. Assistother managers on the floor in a management capacity. Must demonstrate theability to manage the restaurant on off days and cover for vacations as neededby the restaurant. Planmenus for clients. Arrangemeeting requirements, additional rooms needed, VIP arrangements, audio visualneeds, etc. Communicateany unusual circumstances or requests to General Manager. Maximizerevenue by up selling hotel products and services. Actas liaison between for the client when necessary, arranging last minutedetails, meeting and greeting clients on arrival and overseeing their eventswhile in house. Coordinatecredit, billing and payment arrangements for groups. Assistsupervision of accuracy and efficiency of function book entries andforecasting. Otherduties as assigned by the restaurant management team or hotel GM/AGM. Attendingdepartment meetings Communicatingwith your management or team members. Followour hotel green policies, keeping sustainability in mind. FollowingAHC and health department specs.
