JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Trainer is responsible for the implementation and follow-up of all training programs, courses, and curriculum that will develop and improve the quality of training within assigned region(s).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
  • Attend meetings and seminars to obtain information for use in training programs or to inform management of training program status.
  • Design, plan, organize or direct orientation and training programs for employees.
  • Evaluate modes of training, training materials and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Schedule classes and devise programs to develop current associates.
  • Evaluate mode of delivery of training.
  • Keep up with their own development of area of expertise, by reading current journals and articles of business.
  • Monitor, evaluate or record training.
  • Obtain and organize training materials.
  • Offer current employees training to improve job skills.
  • Conducting role playing to improve training programs.
  • Partner with Regional Human Resource Manager for succession planning.
  • Monitor current development and offer solutions to maintain or improve job skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Adult learning understanding – Knowing how adults acquire and use knowledge and skills in learning.
  • Proven leadership and development skills.
  • Ability to be certified in various legal required training.
  • Ability to communicate with Management and staff at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems such as Microsoft Office and LMS.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Favorable performance reviews.
  • Training experience, a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Insured and operable vehicle.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 52 hours per week.
  • Ability to travel frequently during the day with occasional overnight travel
